For ten years, AOKE Europe has worked alongside its partners to create ergonomic, dependable and thoughtfully designed workspaces. This anniversary is a moment to celebrate how far we have come—and everyone who helped us get here.

Where our European story began
In 2016 AOKE Europe was founded in Echt by Joeri Drenth, marking the start of AOKE's expansion into Europe.
Also this year
Opening of the first 600 m² European warehouse
First batch of ZF3 dual motor desks stocked in the European warehouse
First partnerships established with two Dutch partners
Expanding across Europe
In 2017, AOKE Europe expanded into nine new countries, including major markets such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom. Marking an important step in building our European presence and partner network
Also this year
AOKE Europe exhibited at interzum for the first time, representing a major milestone in presenting the company to the international furniture industry.
Reached €1.8 million in revenue within just two years
In 2018, AOKE Europe moved to a larger location featuring a 2,400 m² warehouse and a dedicated showroom. The additional space allowed us to expand our stock, present our solutions in a professional setting and support our growing European partner network.
Also this year
In 2018, AOKE Europe made its Orgatec debut, sharing the latest workplace solutions with professionals and partners from around the world
Expansion of the product catalogue with table tops and acoustic panels, complementing AOKE desk frames with a broader range of workplace solutions
By 2019, AOKE Europe was supplying more than 10,000 dual motor desks annually. Each frame formed the foundation of a height-adjustable desk, helping create thousands of healthier and more dynamic workplaces across Europe.

Expansion of the AOKE Europe team to five employees, strengthening our ability to support a growing European partner network
First appearance at Stockholm Furniture Fair, presenting AOKE solutions to an international audience of workplace and design professionals
Launch of a new AOKE Europe website, giving partners easier access to product information, company updates and inspiration
As COVID-19 reshaped working life in 2020, AOKE Europe adapted its product offering to meet the needs of home-office environments. This helped bring ergonomic, height-adjustable working beyond the traditional office and into people’s homes.
Also this year
Amid COVID-related disruption to international supply chains, strong warehouse stock levels enabled AOKE Europe to respond quickly and expand its reach to 28 countries across Europe
Introduction of our first seating collection, led by the Air chair, expanding our offering beyond desk frames to support more complete ergonomic workspaces
In 2021, AOKE Europe continued its strong growth, with annual revenue approaching €17.4 million. This reflected the increasing demand for our solutions and the continued development of our European business.

Annual supply of dual-motor desks surpassed 50,000 units
Major improvements introduced to the steel-column design of AOKE desks
In 2022, development of AOKE Europe’s new European headquarters began. The purpose-built location was planned to support our continued growth and bring our offices, showroom and expanding warehouse operations together under one roof.

Start of the in-house development and design of AOKE handsets and lifting systems
Launch of a new online product catalogue
Creation of the Marketing Package, giving partners easy access to product information and content
In 2023, we officially opened the doors to our new headquarters. Together with the our valued partners who have supported our journey, we celebrated this important milestone and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for AOKE Europe.

Warehouse capacity more than doubled, growing from 2,400 m² to 5,500 m²
Introduction of environmental information sheets and certificates, marking the start of a more structured approach to environmental responsibility
Following the start of development in 2022, AOKE officially launched its in-house-manufactured motors and complete lifting systems in 2024. This milestone provides greater control over production, quality and innovation for the years to come.

Start of development of Ergomate, connecting AOKE smart desk systems with app-based control and healthier sit-stand habits
Completion of AOKE Europe’s first greenhouse-gas and corporate-responsibility reports to measure and track our environmental progress
Introduction of acoustic pods to the AOKE Europe product assortment
In 2025, we reached a landmark milestone: AOKE desks had helped create more than one million workspaces. This achievement reflects the trust of our partners and our shared commitment to creating healthier, more dynamic places to work.

Launch of an improved Wi-Fi-enabled product line, replacing Bluetooth for stronger connectivity and easier access
Establishment of the AOKE UK subsidiary, strengthening local support and supply for our partners across the United Kingdom
Growth of the AOKE Europe team to 15 employees
Preparations for Odoo ERP integration, supporting greater efficiency, automation and scalability
AOKE Europe's First exhibition at MEBLE POLSKA in Poznań
In 2026, AOKE Europe celebrates ten years of growth, innovation and partnership. From our first warehouse and two Dutch partners to helping equip more than one million workplaces, every step of our journey has been shaped by the people and partners who made it possible.

Successful integration of the new Odoo ERP system, building on preparations from 2025 and strengthening efficiency, automation and scalability
